AltaGas - Financial Analyst (6 Month Term)
Support the delivery of key budgeting and forecasting presentations, leveraging your strong analytical skills and curiosity to understand business drivers. You Will
Support the development and delivery of key budgeting and forecasting presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors
Dive into financial and operational data to validate business drivers across multiple segments.
Assist with monthly outlooks, budgeting cycles, and financial reporting activities
Partner with cross‑functional teams — including Investor Relations and Corporate Development — ensuring data flow, accuracy, and alignment
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with a focus on EBITDA, capital expenditures, and DD&A
Build strong relationships across the business, proactively seeking to understand drivers, impacts, and context
You Have
Ideally 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity to understand the business
Ability to mine, interpret, and validate source data
Comfort communicating insights through PowerPoint and other visualization tools
Detail‑orientation and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
A collaborative mindset and willingness to connect with stakeholders across the business
