The Lead, ETRM will be responsible for providing Digital strategic, tactical and operating vision of Allegro with our Midstream business. This role will be Digital's representative to the Midstream business and their leadership team, the ETRM Support Team and the primary representative for Allegro's vendors and strategic partner. The Lead ETRM will play an integral part in contributing to the success of our organization by ensuring the Digital ETRM operation is strategically and tactically aligned with our business.

You will:

  • Principle point of contact for our business, ETRM vendor and the ETRM support team to provide ownership, continuity and deliver value.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with ETRM customer base and their leadership team.
  • Scale the application to integrate new business activity, new markets, and associated workflow.
  • Develop / align the strategic and tactical vision of the ETRM Digital team with the organization.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing business and system processes, risk management processes, tools, and systems, and contribute to the implementation of improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency while continuously align with the growth of Digital and the business.
  • Manage a team of ETRM functional and technical resources that support the application (this includes our Managed Service Provider).
  • Coordinate enhancements, testing, change approval board participation and facilitate after hour deployments.
  • Establish, monitor, report, and drive workflow for daily support and on demand requests.
  • Act as the liaison between the ETRM Support team, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Responsible and accountable for the Digital ETRM roadmap, budget, and long-term outlook.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, SOX controls, internal policies, and risk limits, conducting periodic reviews and audits to identify deviations and areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in energy trading and risk management, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's risk profile and strategies.

You have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
  • 8+ Years leading and managing ETRM teams and / or Managed Service Providers required
  • 5+ Years working in a Front Office (Trades), Middle Office (Risk) and Back Office staff (Accounting) environment.
  • 3+ Years of Technical/development experience with Allegro would be considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and experience architecting scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based solutions.
  • Financial management, business operations, and people leadership knowledge are required
  • Experience with Allegro, PowerBI, ICE, market data platforms, and risk analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiar with pricing norms and practices for NGLs, Crude, and Natural Gas in North American & Global markets, able to discern position implications and standard commercial communications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
