We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our Intelligence team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
Performance Objectives
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Associate or Analyst on our Commercial
Intelligence team at Enverus. Reporting to a Principal Analyst of Intelligence, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of financial analysts, engineers and geologists to publish investment research. Examples of research you could undertake include valuation and financial modeling, analysis of equity market themes. Collectively, you will work to both enhance our technology platform and leverage it to interact directly with clients, institutional investors, and corporate clients, and help answer some of the hardest questions facing industry and investors today. The ideal candidate can provide independent execution while supporting team initiatives, including client calls and in-person roadshows. • Develop and maintain equity valuation models using SEC filings, investor documents, transcripts, press releases, and government/industry datasets. Identify and incorporate useful new sources of information. • Participate in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging or
demonstrating Enverus Intelligence™ and Enverus Core™ solutions to help answer some of the most challenging questions facing industry and investors today. • Update, maintain and improve proprietary databases critical for formulating opinions on assets including well completion data, operational velocity metrics, ESG metrics and financial data, in collaboration with product and data science teams. • Partner with Intelligence, Sales and Customer Success teammates to build and maintain strong
relationships with and in support of clients. • Provide support to junior members of the team and exhibit strong commitment to personal and team performance and development.
Competitive Candidate Profile
• Work under limited supervision to manage project timelines and expectations. Receives general
instruction on managing scope and priorities. • Applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through work experience and advanced education. • Problems faced can be complex and require prioritization. • Must possess excellent organizational, time management and communication skills. • Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity. • 0 - 5 years of relevant industry experience • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer or Actuarial
Science, or a related field
• Understand the fundamentals and/or economic analysis of the E&P industry • May have obtained or be pursuing a professional designation (CFA, MBA, P.Eng., P.Geo) • Highly computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analytic tools • Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
