The Opportunity

Our Safety Strategy & Governance (S&G) Group is currently looking to add a Analyst, Safety Culture to the team, based in Calgary, AB or Houston, TX.

Reporting to the Team Lead, S&G, this position is dedicated to building and maturing safety culture at TC Energy and provides support in achieving the goals of the Safety roadmap. There is a transformational component that will focus on embedding Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles as an ongoing way of working as we execute the safety roadmap.
 

What you will do 

  • Support the development of integrated safety culture plans to influence a safety-conscious mindset to manage risk to prevent major accidents and serious incidents
  • Raise awareness, educate and reinforce leadership behaviours that will strengthen and advance safety culture 
  • Create presentations and other supporting HSE program change management and communication materials
  • Deliver presentation and educational resources through training and facilitation
  • Coordination of Safety Culture event logistics and production of materials
  • Support Safety Culture projects planning and execution such as Safety Week and quarterly safety recognition
  • Stakeholder Management - Engage with key stakeholders to understand needs, expectations and provide appropriate support
  • SharePoint and intranet site management 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary degree in Business, Human Relations, Communications or a related field
  • Four years of related experience
  • Proven skills and competencies in designing, managing, coordinating, and implementing complex change efforts
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to develop presentation and print material for education and communication purposes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous midstream industry experience
  • Previous Safety programs experience
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver results
  • Exposure to change management and / or safety management
  • Understanding of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles and/or operational learning
  • Experience with setting up and managing websites
