Job Description Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be a key driver of STEMCELL's innovation and success. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and document end-user requirements, develop comprehensive reports, and define detailed business process specifications. You will help ensure that all requirements align seamlessly with our overarching business objectives.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business groups to identify, document and communicate business needs and objectives, helping create a clear understanding of desired outcomes

  • Facilitate the creation of business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and related documentation

  • Perform current and future-state process analysis to document, assess and identify gaps in business systems, applications and workflows,  and guide improvements to underlying processes and systems/applications

  • Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity, traceability and alignment across cross-functional teams, and supporting data-informed decision-making

  • Lead testing activities, including system/functional testing and UAT, by validating requirements, tracking issues and identifying enhancement opportunities to improve solution quality

Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years of relevant business analysis experience, or a Master's degree with 2-3 years of experience 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with familiarity in standard  business analysis tools, techniques and documentation practices

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments, with the ability to build work breakdown structures and project schedules where required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, stakeholders engagement, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet established deadlines

  • Additional certifications such as CCBA, PMI-PBA, CBAP, PMI-ACP, or relevant Agile certifications are considered an asset

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$71,200.00 - $96,400.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
