Job Overview:

As a Category Manager within the eCommerce Commercial team, you will take ownership of managing product categories and crafting innovative promotional strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance engagement across SharkNinja’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platform. In this role, the Category Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site merchandising, performance marketing, sales analytics, supply chain, and CX/UX, to execute a seamless and impactful eCommerce category strategy. The Category Manager is pivotal in achieving SharkNinja’s growth targets by delivering exceptional customer value and enhancing the shopping experience. You will be instrumental in driving higher basket sizes and optimizing our digital platforms' performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead eCommerce promotional strategy by designing, executing, and optimizing campaign plans across multiple channels including the website, email, and digital ads
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with site merchandising, performance media, sales analytics, supply chain and IT teams to ensure promotions align with SharkNinja’s brand identity and deliver outsized results
  • Support commercial strategies for SharkNinja’s eCommerce business, driving top-line growth and profitability across digital channels
  • Develop and manage promotional calendars that integrate with the broader marketing strategies, ensuring campaigns are timely and impactful
  • Analyze campaign and category performance by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve promotional and assortment effectiveness and report results to senior leadership
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and proactively suggest new approaches to eCommerce promotions and assortment to keep SharkNinja at the forefront of the market
  • Support manager in overall P&L strategy and category goals

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or promotional management, ideally within a consumer goods industry
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaborative results, embodying the “Winning is a Team Sport” success driver
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in tracking KPIs, understanding consumer data, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Experience in managing promotional budgets and working closely with digital marketing and IT teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in eCommerce platforms, with experience in creating and optimizing online promotional strategies
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, pivot quickly, and embrace progress over perfection in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
