POSITION SUMMARY

When you join the HUB team, you become part of an entrepreneurial team of talented people. This gratifying role focuses on discovering missing commission revenue. Following the clues, researching discrepancies and solving the puzzle to collect revenue due keeps this opportunity fresh and exciting. As a liaison between operations and accounting, this position directly impacts regional revenue, producer compensation and accuracy in financial reporting. Daily interaction with all levels of personnel and outside insurance carriers is vital to this role. Hub’s rapid and continuing growth keeps this work fast-paced and creates future opportunities in the Finance Department. Successful candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, and detail oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaison between operations personnel and local, regional, and corporate accounting to ensure correct posting of revenue.

  • Utilize business management and document management systems to obtain needed supporting documents.

  • Analyze data and research variances indicating missing revenue.

  • Communicate with internal servicers and outside carrier representatives to determine issues and status of payment.

  • Resolve producer commission inquiries.

  • Effectiveness and incentives measured by revenue recovered and successful completion of assigned tasks.

  • Gather escalated commission statements and submit them to the Carrier Management Team as requested from the Carrier Management Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Excel skills required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Super initiative and problem-solving capability

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
