About You

As our Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating unique, engaging, and search-engine-optimized content for client websites. Your work will directly impact site rankings, user experience, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. You will craft everything from website copy and blog posts to high-converting landing pages for ad campaigns.

What You'll Do:

  • Create original, high-converting content for each stage of the buyer and customer journey, including websites, blogs, product pages, Google Business profiles, paid ads, social media and more.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify topic opportunities and create topic clusters.
  • Incorporate E-E-A-T principles to build trust and credibility for client service-based topics.
  • Create conversion-focused landing pages optimized for paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
  • Collaborate with SEO strategists and web designers to align content with keyword strategy and page structure.
  • Conduct research to understand client industries, competitors, and target audiences.
  • Optimize existing content for improved SEO and readability.
  • Research and write location-based service pages and landing pages optimized for search.
  • Create blog posts that align with local keyword strategies and seasonal trends.
  • Develop content calendars for Google Business Profile posts and social media updates.
  • Skilled in crafting and optimizing content with the assistance of  AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar generative tools to improve output quality and user experience.
  • Follow best practices for web writing, including use of headers, metadata, internal linking, and calls-to-action.
  • Maintain consistent tone, style, and branding across all relevant client content.
  • Ensure all content is grammatically flawless and plagiarism-free.

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing search-optimized web content (please include a portfolio or samples).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficient in on-page SEO (keywords, meta tags, internal linking, etc.) with an understanding of how AI and semantic search influence content optimization and user intent alignment.
  • Experience writing for different industries and adapting tone accordingly.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Webflow (bonus if you can format content directly).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Google Analytics, keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs), or paid media campaigns.
