Are you passionate about Dynamics 365 and change management?


We are looking for a detail-orientated and technical Dynamics 365 Operations Lead for our Head Office branch located in Calgary or Vancouver! The Dynamics 365 Operations Lead is to work directly with the D365 Product Owner and provide support to all levels of the vendor support, internal teams, and departments in addressing business needs, issues and functionality. The role will participate in monitoring, management and maintenance of backend systems on a day-to-day basis with the different support teams across the organization. 

A Day in the Life:

  • Liaise with D365 process owners, understand the systems functions, analyze & triage issues, communicate with users and resolve authorities, while monitoring the issue resolution process
  • Manage service and system operations and updates, system monitoring and maintenance, application management, and other technical tasks
  • Monitor user proficiency, create and conduct training
  • Conduct change management activities, improve user adoption
  • Keep track of new requirements or updates that might affect the system, assess their impact, test the changes, update documentation, train users, communicate the changes, manage the release process, and refresh the support environments
  • Liaise with data stewards, audit and report on data quality, make core data and configuration changes as needed
  • Participate in data governance related activities like developing strategies for maintaining data standardizations and transformations, maintaining business metadata and business process improvement
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis, data profiling, helping with source-to-target mapping and conversion rules, and report testing

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience as Dynamics 365 Functional consultant, D365 Applications Solutions Architect or similar role
  • 5+ experience in project management with the ability to use knowledge, tools and other skills to ensure the team achieves all project goals within agreed parameters
  • 5+ experience implementing Agile methodology, ALM and SDLC (Scrum and Agile) development methodologies, user experience principles, product backlog management, SW development, and application lifecycle management
  • Post secondary education in Information Technology field preferred
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate considered an asset
  • Any or all Project Management related certifications such as PMP, Scrum, Agile or CBAP preffered
  • Analytical and decisions making skills to identify workable solutions to resolve complex problems
  • Good communication skills
