As the Employee Relations Partner you will consult on a range of employee relations matters within your assigned business area. You will provide guidance on performance management and conflict resolution, conduct workplace investigations, and work with key stakeholders to ensure positive employee relations.

How you will create impact: 
  • Providing day-to-day employee relations advice and support on a variety of practices, including coaching on conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Developing and implementing proactive employee relations strategies that foster a positive work environment and a high-performance culture.
  • Conducting workplace investigations, ensuring matters are resolved in a timely manner and in alignment with employment standards and best practices.
  • Building key relationships and networks with leaders and employees by championing employee relations strategies, programs and practices.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure our employee relations centre of excellence is aligned with strategic objectives and industry best practice.
  • Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to leadership.
To join our team:
  • You have five years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • You have expert knowledge of employment law including, Employment Standards, Human Rights legislation and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • You have experience conducting workplace investigations and writing investigation reports.
  • Having the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation(s) an asset.
  • Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

 Salary information

Expected salary range $72,847.00 to $121,411.00

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.​​

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
