What you will do

As an Engagement Manager, EPM with Bryant Park Consulting you will be responsible for leading a team of consultants on end-to-end implementations of NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (EPM) for our Clients. Client stakeholders and other consultants on the team will rely on you for leadership, mentorship, and FP&A and S&OP business process and systems architecture advisory based on your experience leading teams and your extensive NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, financial close and consolidation, NetSuite Account Reconciliation, and additional Oracle NetSuite business applications experience.

  • Lead a team of 5+ NetSuite Planning and Budgeting consultants and analysts in the management of a portfolio of client engagements as well as direct management of the individuals within the practice area including regular 1-on-1’s, team meetings, and others
  • Work cross-functionally with other firm leadership team members and Engagement Managers to ensure seamless interaction, collaboration, and communication across ERP, EPM, Integration, and Data and Analytics consulting teams on shared client engagements
  • Proactively manage and optimize the allocation and utilization of resources on the NetSuite Planning and Budgeting team, including liaising with and managing subcontractors where necessary to support our client and project portfolio
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in all areas of planning and budgeting across the firm
  • Manage continuous improvement of our implementation methodology and project artifacts related to NetSuite Planning and Budgeting
  • Support end-to-end implementation of NetSuite Planning and Budgeting for new clients including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and post go-live support and optimization based on knowledge of leading practices for FP&A, S&OP, and industry specific applications, to enhance and accelerate their budgeting, planning, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
  • Prepare professional presentations and written deliverables to support each stage of the project lifecycle including requirements documentation, design documents, test scripts and procedures, as well as power user, end user, and system administrator procedural guides.
  • Facilitate initial migration of data from legacy systems and from NetSuite ERP to support the planning and budgeting system implementation
  • Implement workflows within NetSuite Planning and Budgeting to provide governance and enterprise-wide planning and forecasting in support of bottoms-up and top-down planning processes across departments for organizations with a broad user base
  • Build complex custom financial and forecasting models for customers requiring capabilities over and above available out of the box solutions with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting
  • Prepare custom reports to meet clients’ unique management and financial reporting requirements using HTML, SmartView, and in support of board and narrative reporting
  • Develop and maintain integrations to other non-NetSuite ERP enterprise applications critical to driving Planning and Budgeting processes including Payroll and HCM applications (i.e. Workday, ADP, Paylocity, Ceridian, and others) and Sales and CRM applications (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, and others)
  • Work closely with ERP Consulting counterparts to align project and implementation timelines and manage dependencies that include reporting structure, financial segmentation, chart of accounts structure, and integration
  • Provide post go-live optimization, training, and managed services to clients and users of NetSuite Planning and Budgeting to continuously improve their use of the application
  • Architect, build, maintain, and deploy commonly requested solutions within NetSuite Planning and Budgeting to be redeployed to additional customers in the future and advance Bryant Park Consulting’s competitive advantage in key industry micro-verticals and to reduce the effort for future implementations of commonly requested solutions
  • Provide project management services and support related to the NetSuite Planning and Budgeting workstream on client engagements, including timeline, risk, and RAID management
  • Support our Enablement Manager in programming and efforts to train and enable new hire analysts and consultants to support their professional and skills development in areas including product knowledge, business acumen, and consulting skills
  • Continuous education and development to maintain up to date knowledge on industry and application advancements including NetSuite Planning and Budgeting new release functionality and SuiteSuccess models
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including scoping, product demonstrations, and Statement of Work development as needed to assist the firm in new client acquisition and in go-to-market activities such as webinars, blog post writing, and other initiatives
  • Support interviewing and technical assessment of potential new hires in the NetSuite Planning and Budgeting and EPM consulting practice of Bryant Park Consulting to fuel the growth and development of the practice

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of end-to-end NetSuite Planning and Budgeting implementation for mid-market and enterprise organizations, ideally having led 15+ full-life cycle implementations
  • Demonstrated background and experience in consulting or industry in areas of financial planning and analysis or accounting
  • Proficiency in all areas of financial management, financial planning and analysis, and sales and operations planning
  • Strong interpersonal communication, written communication, presentation, conflict resolution, and organizational change management skills
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage client and team interactions, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Extensive familiarity with data migration plan and procedures and application integrations to FP&A systems
  • Mastery of MS Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Eagerness to serve as a mentor and leader to junior consulting resources
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual/remote environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support in-person client engagements where required for key project milestones such as discovery/design and training (expected to be less than 20% travel)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems

Desirable:

  • Additional EPM solution expertise with solutions such as Oracle PBCS, Hyperion Financial Management, IBM Planning Analytics, Anaplan, and Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Knowledge of NetSuite ERP as a source system and NetSuite ERP Certifications
  • Integration toolset expertise with Celigo, Boomi, FarApp
  • Industry Certifications including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
  • Project Management Certifications (PMP, CSM)
  • MBA, Masters, or other advanced degrees with an emphasis on corporate finance

Salary Range: $145,000 to $180,000

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
