Job Overview

Weatherford, a leading provider in the Oil & Energy industry, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wireline Field Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our wireline services. As a Wireline Field Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing wireline operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and understanding of fundamental math principles
  • Knowledge of principles of electricity and basic computer skills
  • Ability to complete Weatherford safety training and obtain necessary permits (blaster's permit and NRCan approval letter)
  • Willingness to work in a team environment, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward health, safety, and the environment
  • Availability to work 24/7 with scheduled days off and willingness to relocate
  • Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations and work in varying conditions and remote locations

Education

Candidates with 1-2 years of experience as a Wireline Supervisor or recent graduates from a university or technical school with a learning mindset and willingness to participate in Weatherford's training program are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with 2 years or more of experience as a Wireline Supervisor.

Certifications

  • Possession of a blaster's permit and NRCan approval letter is preferred

Compensation
