We are looking for a Financial Controller to help leading our Accounting function and help drive growth across our multi-entity fintech group. This is a critical role for a detail-oriented yet commercially minded accounting professional who can combine technical expertise with strong leadership.
What you'll be doing
Financial Control & Reporting
- Own the month-end and year-end reporting process, delivering timely and accurate standalone and consolidated financial statements.
- Provide insightful management reporting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Companies Law, and relevant tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Partner with senior leadership to support fundraising, capital allocation, and financing strategy.
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Strengthen internal controls, ensuring robust governance over all financial processes.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
What You’ll Bring To Us
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) – full or part-qualified.
- 3+years of progressive finance experience. Previous experience within fintech, payments, or other regulated industries will be considered as advantage.
- Previous Big Four (audit/tax) experience will be considered as advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (primarily excel);
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
