What You’ll Do:


A Manual QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and

performance of software applications through systematic testing. This role

involves creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, collaborating with

development teams, and validating that product requirements are met before

release.



What We’re Looking For:

Test Planning & Design

  • Analyze product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Identify test conditions, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in refinement and design discussions to ensure test coverage.

Test Execution

  • Execute manual functional, regression, UI/UX, integration, smoke, and

exploratory tests.

  • Validate frontend, backend, APIs, and workflows depending on the product.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing when required.

Defect Management

  • Log detailed, reproducible defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps.
  • Prioritize and track reported issues throughout the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to clarify bugs and retest fixes.

Quality Reporting

  • Document test results and provide daily/weekly QA reports.
  • Track testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, demos,

retrospectives).


Process & Standards

  • Follow and improve QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and risk-based testing approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and release

requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC.
  • Experience with issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Ability to write clear, detailed test cases and bug reports.
  • Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Basic understanding of SQL for backend data validation.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Xray).
  • Knowledge of usability testing and accessibility testing.
  • Exposure to automation tools (an advantage but not required).
  • Experience in mobile testing (iOS/Android).

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail and strong ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Time-management and prioritization skills.

Working Schedule:


Fully Onsite; Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
