  • Build and grow a profitable, sustainable client portfolio through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and community engagement
  • Deliver personalized, advice-based insurance and wealth solutions that drive client confidence, loyalty, and long-term financial security
  • Act as a visible and professional independent representative of Co-operators, strengthening our reputation and presence in the communities we serve
How You Will Succeed
  • You take full ownership of building a profitable, sustainable financial services portfolio
  • You earn client trust through consistent, advice-based relationships focused on long-term financial outcomes
  • You grow a book of business through disciplined prospecting, networking, and active community engagement
  • You continuously develop your expertise in insurance, wealth solutions, and market trends to remain competitive and credible
  • You stay focused and resilient in the pursuit of your goals, overcoming barriers while effectively managing your time, priorities, and sales pipeline
  • You operate independently while upholding Co-operators' values, brand standards, and client-first approach
This Opportunity May Be Right for You If

We're looking for motivated, relationship-driven individuals who are excited to provide financial security for Canadians and our communities.

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Hold a valid Life Insurance License (LLQP or equivalent) and/or Mutual Funds License (e.g., IFC, CIFC), or are willing to obtain them, and meet ongoing licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Have experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or other advice-based sales environments
  • Have experience running your own business
  • Have a background in wealth management, B2B sales, account management, or business development
  • Have worked in client-facing advisory or relationship-management roles where trust and credibility matter
  • Are a business owner, entrepreneur, or community-based sales professional who thrives on autonomy and long-term growth

What you bring:

  • A demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and convert them into sustainable business growth
  • A strong sales and business-development mindset, with comfort prospecting, networking, and creating opportunity
  • Clear, confident communication, strong organization, and disciplined follow-through
  • A client-first, advice-based approach grounded in helping clients and families build financial security and achieve their goals
  • Resilience, accountability, and self-motivation, with the drive to take ownership of your results
What You Need to Know
  • This is a client-facing, business development-focused, independent advisory opportunity
  • You will operate your own business as an independent contractor under the Co-operators brand
  • Success is built over time through relationship building, portfolio development, and consistent business activity
  • You will distribute Co-operators products exclusively, in accordance with the terms of your independent contractor agreement
  • You will be required to complete a comprehensive background check
What's In It for You?
  • The opportunity to build and grow your own financial services portfolio with ownership over your results
  • Opportunities to grow your compensation through business development, client retention, and new business success
  • A flexible, remote-friendly work model with autonomy over your schedule
  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, mentorship, and ongoing development to support your long-term success
  • Access to enterprise-level tools, marketing resources, product specialists, and dedicated support teams to help you grow and scale your business
  • The backing of a trusted Canadian brand with a strong community presence and a values-driven, client-first culture
