Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to
design, build, test, and support modern web applications. This role involves
working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, accessible,
and high‑quality digital solutions using modern frameworks, cloud technologies,
and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate
with business analysts, UX/UI designers, product managers, and architects
to translate user stories, designs, and technical requirements into
working applications.
- Design,
develop, test, debug, and maintain full‑stack applications, including
cloud‑native and microservices‑based solutions.
- Design
and implement overall solution architecture, including APIs, databases,
and front‑end integrations.
- Build
and consume RESTful API services and integrate them with front‑end user
interfaces.
- Develop
responsive, accessible web applications that comply with WCAG and AODA
standards.
- Support
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable automated builds, testing,
and deployments.
- Create
technical design documentation, system documentation, and operational
procedures as required.
- Support
quality assurance activities, including unit testing, test automation,
performance testing, security testing, and accessibility testing.
- Provide
production support, incident investigation, troubleshooting, and ongoing
maintenance.
- Participate
in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, demos, and
retrospectives.
- Coordinate
development activities and provide technical guidance and knowledge
transfer to internal teams.
- Provide
post‑implementation support and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Must‑Have Technical Skills
- Experience
with Entity Framework or other Object‑Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.
- Strong
experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Proficiency
with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience
with React and Next.js.
- Experience
with Node.js.
- Strong
SQL and relational database experience.
- Knowledge
of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for web application
development.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Azure
cloud development, including PaaS and SQL services.
- Responsive
web application and web service design and testing.
- Microservices
and container‑based application development.
- CI/CD
pipeline setup and management.
- Experience
with Git‑based source control and DevOps tools.
- Unit
testing and test automation frameworks.
- Regression
testing (manual and automated), including modern web automation tools.
- Experience
with JSON‑based integrations and modern API patterns.
Agile Delivery Experience
- Hands‑on
experience working in Scrum/Agile teams.
- Participation
in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, demos, and reviews.
- Experience
providing development estimates and contributing to technical designs.
- Experience
with concurrent development using feature branching and CI/CD pipelines.
Business Analysis
- Ability
to translate business requirements into technical designs and software
implementations.
