As the Human Resources Partner, you will provide consultative services to deliver impactful HR solutions, while partnering with peers in HR centres of excellence (COEs) to leverage technical expertise. In alignment with the strategic direction and goals of business partners, you will provide consultation and advice on all aspects of HR programs and practices.

How you will create impact:
  • Working with Senior HR Partner to understand business strategy, goals and priorities, talent risks and industry trends, and to assess needs and barriers to drive business performance through development and delivery of people strategy and solutions.
  • Partnering with HR COEs to provide business context for the design, development, and implementation of talent-related programs, and acting as a liaison to positively influence and align the priorities of the business and HR.
  • Analyzing and interpreting talent metrics and data to assist in making appropriate business decisions and recommendations.
  • Consulting and advising on all aspects of HR strategic programs and practices to support business challenges and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Facilitating discussions and educational sessions on emerging HR topics and practices in partnership with the HR partners.
To join our team:
  • You have five years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • You have the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation(s) is an asset.
  • You have expert knowledge and understanding of HR practices in the areas of Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Change Management and Total Rewards.
  • Proficiency in English is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority non-francophone clients, groups, teams. Drafting complex English documents and preparing daily reports for anglophone leaders. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected salary range $72,847 - $121,411

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.”

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
