Club Caddie – Public, Semi Private and MCO Golf Course Installation

THE COMPANY

Club Caddie is a quickly growing technology start-up that builds golf course management software. We’ve had the privilege of recently being acquired by Jonas Software.

Club Caddie’s objective is to expand Jonas’ outstanding reputation and market share in the public, semi-private and multi-course operator golf business.

THE POSITION

Working on our implementation team and reporting to the Director of Implementation, we are seeking an ambitious, action-oriented individual to join our team of professionals as an Implementation Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling meetings with clients following the sale of Club Caddie software and leading the collection of data and other information required to structure purchased software systems.
  • Creating and managing a project plan for each client, detailing the tasks that need to be completed for the timely installation of Club Caddie software systems.
  • Leading communications with clients throughout the software setup process to obtain feedback and approval.
  • Using knowledge of golf course operations, structuring Club Caddie software systems based on clients’ individual needs and specifications.
  • Training clients on how to use Club Caddie software systems and add-on modules that fit their specific needs.
  • Creating a specialized document for each client, detailing all customizations made.
  • Managing key deliverables and project milestones.
  • Providing cost and time estimates to clients who require additional developments to be done; billing clients for professional services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Action-Oriented: Enjoys working hard; is action-oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others.
  • Approachability:  Is easy to approach and talk to; spends extra time to put others at ease; builds rapport well.
  • Prior Club Caddie experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior experience working as an Implementation Specialist or related field.
  • Golf Industry Acumen: intimate knowledge with golf course operations and golf course management systems; familiarity with Club Caddie’s competitor’s software functionality. 3+ years of golf course operation experience.
  • Sound technical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite or related tools.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong Communication Skills and Presentation Skills: in written, spoken and non-verbal communications, is effective inside and outside of the organization in a variety of formal presentation settings; one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, direct reports and with bosses.
