In this dynamic role, you will manage commercial collaboration processes, be responsible for supporting the preparation and execution of key customer meetings, and support customer events.

You’ll play a critical role in strengthening relationships across the Canada Gas pipeline customer groups including NGTL, Mainline, and Foothills. This role offers a developmental opportunity for the successful candidate to gain commercial experience and exposure.

The Collaboration team is a dynamic and important part of the broader Commercial team. The collaborative forums (TTF, TTFP, and FHIC) provide timely and effective sharing of information with stakeholders (including customers, Industry Associations, and Governments) by consulting and collaborating on policy issues related to tolls and tariff matters with the goal of reducing regulatory hearings, while building our reputation and relationships.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Lead the planning and execution of monthly collaborative forum meetings, including:

    • Drafting customer announcements to communicate timing and logistics,

    • Formatting customer-facing materials to maintain consistency and quality,

    • Maintaining customer databases and accurate internal documentation,

    • Ensuring compliance with forum and regulatory requirements,

    • Providing technical assistance for SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom applications.

  • Support broader commercial events planning including the scheduling, venue, travel, accommodation, and audiovisual requirements for internal and external attendees.

  • Responsible for annual collaborative forum planning including TTF/ TTFP calendars, membership renewals, and ad hoc membership requests.

  • Support the Commercial team in high pressure, time sensitive situations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g., executive assistant, event planning, administration of logistics-based processes).

  • Strong customer service skills and able to establish high value/high trust working relationships both internally and externally.

  • Detailed oriented, organized, and proactive.

  • Flexible thinker and able to adjust to evolving priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM, SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom.

  • Some understanding of transmission pipelines and the natural gas industry.

What you need to know about the Calgary Tech Scene

Employees can spend up to one-third of their life at work, so choosing the right company is crucial, not just for the job itself but for the company culture as well. While startups often offer dynamic culture and growth opportunities, large corporations provide benefits like career development and networking, especially appealing to recent graduates. Fortunately, Calgary stands out as a hub for both, recognized as one of Startup Genome's Top 100 Emerging Ecosystems, while also playing host to a number of multinational enterprises. In Calgary, job seekers can find a wide range of opportunities.
