Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with growing, new, and lapsed customers to meet or exceed annual sales targets while ensuring profitability.

  • Engage fully with customers on every sales call to understand their needs and demonstrate how Finning can support them.

  • Maintain accurate records of account details and equipment population, and manage activities and opportunities using Saleslink.

  • Collaborate with the extended product support network, including product management, equipment sales, outside product support representatives, inside sales representatives, and parts and service teams.

  • Develop strategic call and account plans for your customer base.

  • Resolve complex and technically challenging customer needs quickly and effectively.

  • Convert data and intelligence leads into active sales opportunities.​

Required Skills:

  • Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving targets.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to navigate and resolve complex customer challenges effectively.

  • Strategic approach to account management, prospecting, and solution selling.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrable success in customer service and/or sales.

  • Parts ticket and strong mechanical aptitude with heavy equipment knowledge are assets.

  • Extensive experience in the heavy equipment and/or construction industry.

The total annual compensation target for this position is $90,000 - $105,000 including base salary and target variable. This is a commissioned sales role.
