We are seeking a highly motivated sales minded individual who is looking to build on their already existing sales skills and experience to join our firm and grow our inside sales team. As the Inside Sales Consultant, you would be responsible for driving new sales and booking qualified meetings for current consultants within the organization, you will be directly connected to building out a funnel and helping unlock new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and working personal referrals.The Inside Sales Consultant will:
  • New business development through cold calling, lead generation and networking in your designated region.

  • Maintain positive relations with prospects, including key decision makers and administrators.

  • Identify the client’s group insurance landscape (how many employees actively on the plan, when does the plan renew, etc.).

  • Adhere to People Corporation targeted metrics to success.

  • Identify creative opportunities for generating new leads and business opportunities.

  • Active participation in prospecting for and securing new clients from leads generated through targeted proactive networking and referrals.

  • Participate in continuing education to maintain a high level of knowledge of employee benefit legislation, administrative issues, plan rules, claim management and client specific procedures.

  • Represent People Corporation in the market and be a successful brand ambassador.

  • Maintain an expert knowledge of the complete line of People Corporation products and services.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, shared services, practice areas, etc. across the organization.

  • Responsible for achieving the identified call volume targets along with trending on People Corporations desired metrics.

To be successful as an Inside Sales Consultant at People Corporation, you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).

  • You have sales experience with a passion for generating results and closing new business opportunities.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer service focused, with the ability to work alongside the new business development process.

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.

  • A solution and results oriented individual who demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables as identified in a timely manner.

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - 55,000 per annum. Details of the total compensation package will be shared during the interview process.
