The Opportunity

As the lead content strategist for Restore, you will bring your creative energy & customer obsession to help make space for rest in the busy lives of adults. This person must be based in the United States or Canada. Hatch is primarily based out of California, so this role must be available during PST/PDT working hou

What You’ll do: 

  • As the first in house UX writer you will develop content frameworks and voice guidelines that helps uplevel our brand and experience for our customers
  • Partner with design, product and engineering to design seamless personalized experiences across our mobile app, physical devices, and web experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of existing pain points and opportunities our customers face through our user research and data analysis that informs your strategy of content development 
  • Work cross-functionally with PMs, designers, engineers, product marketers, and our audio content team to innovate and improve how our customers experience our products. 
  • Have a big impact on a growing, evolving people-centered startup that truly helps people sleep better.

Within 3 Months:

  • Collaborate closely with product and design teams to build and refine existing content frameworks and ensure alignment with brand tone and strategy.
  • Take ownership of content strategy for small-scale updates and large-scale product launches, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Dive into conceptualizing and crafting customer-focused content for app, and some web and email touchpoints.
  • Break away from generic, technical language to develop clear, engaging, and culturally relevant UX copy that resonates with our adult customer.

Within 6 Months:

  • Become a trusted partner across cross-functional teams, providing strategic content leadership while enhancing visibility of UX content's impact.
  • Fully integrate into our content guidelines, driving innovation and evolution in tone and style while keeping the user journey top of mind.
  • Act as a proactive thought leader, identifying opportunities for culturally relevant, user-first content and initiating impactful projects without waiting for a formal brief.

After 1 Year:

  • Lead the evolution of the brand voice across digital touchpoints, actively influencing product design and content strategy.
  • Drive end-to-end customer journeys
  • Champion content-led design principles

What You'll Bring

  • 7–9 years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, or a related field within an agency or in-house team.
  • Proven track record of working on end-to-end product campaigns, with a particular strength in creating engaging, user-friendly content for digital platforms.
  • Expertise in crafting clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to user needs and business objectives.
