The Team You Will Join
Accident and Health ADM team part of the Group Benefits organization. Working with business partners and vendors to deliver enhancements and compliance updates needed to differentiate our product in market. Also working to enhance member experience.
The Opportunity
The Product Owner is responsible for bringing products to life. Conveying product needs to the development team to ensure value is delivered on proposed features. Define the incremental build solutions to achieve larger goals defined by the Product Manager. The Product Owner is involved in the day-to-day activities of multiple agile teams both internal and external to ensure priority of the teams work and acceptance of criteria of the features. This is an exciting opportunity to lead multiple initiatives that will enhance customer experience and make MetLife a leader in the voluntary product space.
Success in this role requires leadership to identify access and connect among key stake holders and experts to enable solutions. Able to make decisions on information that is available at the time to deliver the highest possible value. The Product Owner is responsible for prioritizing the teams work, oversee the product development, anticipate business needs, and evaluate progress at each iteration. You'll collaborate closely with Product Development, Compliance, Member Experience and A&H vendor in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Agile Delivery Method experience or knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively to navigate conversation to align on a set of data inputs.
- Problem solving skills to think creatively to solve complex problems while focusing on delivering value to stake holders.
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- Suggested 5 years of experience in agile delivery.
