Position Overview:Finning Canada is looking to hire a Manager, Total Rewards to help shape a competitive, modern, and engaging rewards experience for employees across Canada. This role is ideal for a Total Rewards professional with strong compensation and benefits expertise who enjoys leading a small team and partnering closely with HR and business leaders.
You’ll oversee core programs; compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness and play a key role in ensuring our rewards are competitive, sustainable, and aligned to Finning’s strategy. If you’re looking for meaningful impact, cross‑functional collaboration, and the opportunity to modernize programs at scale, this role offers both challenge and growth.

· For this position, the expected base salary range is between $140,000 and $150,000 annually.

Job Description:

What You’ll Do

  • Lead compensation programs, salary structures, job evaluation, and annual cycles.

  • Oversee benefits and pension plans, vendor relationships, and employee education.

  • Enhance recognition and wellness programs that support culture and wellbeing.

  • Provide data‑driven insights to support decisions on competitiveness, pay equity, and program effectiveness.

  • Lead and develop a small, high‑performing Total Rewards team.

 

What You Bring

You don’t need to meet every requirement, if you have strong compensation and benefits experience and are ready for a leadership role, we encourage you to apply.

  • Experience in Total Rewards with strength in compensation design and market analysis.

  • Knowledge of benefits, pension, and wellness programs.

  • Experience in complex or multi‑site environments; union exposure is an asset.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead people or programs with a collaborative, inclusive style.

  • Designations (CPHR, CEBS, CCP) are an asset, not a requirement.
