OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, action-orientated, results-driven marketing coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator with a positive attitude, strong solution-based work ethic, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. We are seeking a strategic thinker, creative marketer, and highly organized professional to make a significant impact on the Marketing team’s success by promoting our expertise and focus on meaningful connections with our members, identifying new opportunities, and enhancing our market presence.

This role will support the development and execution of marketing strategies for the Group division, aligned with overall business goals. This will involve extensive collaboration with the Marketing team including content, advertising and channel integration, and digital experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies and plans.

  • Align marketing efforts with business objectives and market needs.

  • Continuously identify new opportunities and bring fresh ideas for improvement.

Marketing Plan Execution:

  • Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to execute on the development and finalization of marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and manage content for various marketing channels, including digital, social media, email, and print in collaboration with content team.

Market Analysis:

  • Acquire market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.

  • Provide insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign adjustments.

  • Connect the dots across solutions, services, and sales and marketing to support campaigns and programs that link brand and demand.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Gather and input defined metrics for marketing activities in applicable areas on defined schedule.

  • Create UTMs to support tracking of marketing initiatives.

  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for improvement to Marketing Manager.

Project Management:

  • Keep marketing projects on track, allocate resources efficiently.

  • Maintain oversight of project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely execution.

  • Develop and adhere to workback schedules and have a plan to mitigate unplanned issues.

  • Regular stakeholder communication about project status.

Content Development:

  • Working with the content team, ensure messaging is reflective of the buyer’s journey stage
    and target audience.

  • Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines as well as QA testing.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in managing the marketing budget including spend and invoice processing.

  • Track expenses and ensure marketing activities stay within budget.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing or advertising.

  • Minimum of three years marketing experience in a corporate environment, advertising, or media agency.

  • Experience in B2B marketing considered an asset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Resourceful, creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines all without jeopardizing quality.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).

  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology such as email marketing platforms like Marketo an asset. Other examples include UserTesting and Adobe Analytics.
