Role Overview

We’re seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist (Contract) to support our marketing team with automation, analytics, and process optimization. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in establishing processes for the first time, finding areas for improvement, and thrives in directing their efforts toward most impactful areas across auditing, strategy, and implementation of Marketing Operations in support of Marketing and Sales.

ResponsibilitiesMarketing Automation & CRM Management

  • Manage and optimize our Hubspot account and connected software integrations.

  • Work with Marketing to establish and improve lead capture, routing, scoring, and lifecycle tracking to streamline handoff to Sales.

  • Ensure data hygiene, compliance, and governance across Hubspot, and data sources connected to Hubspot.

Campaign Execution & Lead Management

  • Build and manage Hubspot assets and corresponding processes (workflows, campaigns, lists, events, forms, etc.) in support of Marketing efforts, Sales outbounding efforts, and Sales handoff.

  • Set up tracking, campaign tagging, and reporting dashboards in support of product-led and sales-led funnels.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with lead flow, campaign tracking, reporting, and automation.

  • Establish processes to ensure best practices are implemented for data integrity, audience segmentation, touchpoints, tracking, and reporting. 

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop dashboards in Hubspot, Metabase, Plausible, and/or Google Analytics to track marketing performance.

  • Provide reporting and analysis on signups, subscriptions, revenue, MQLs, SALs, SQLs, pipeline influence, CAC, ROAS, LTV, and attribution to help inform and optimize Marketing and Sales efforts.

Tech Stack & Process Optimization

  • Audit current Marketing Operations setup, identifying gaps and areas for improvement based on impact.

  • Evaluate and implement new tools and integrations as needed.

  • Define and document Marketing Operations processes.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years in Marketing Operations for a B2B SaaS company.

  • Ability to work 15-25 hours per week, including meetings as needed.

  • Strong experience with Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and Operations Hubs in Hubspot. 

  • Deep understanding of lead management, campaign attribution, and marketing analytics.

  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and deliver fast, high-impact optimizations.

  • Experience with BI tools (Metabase, Segment, BigQuery) and Google Analytics preferred.

  • Experience with SQL, Python, or scripting languages is a plus but not required.
