You as a “M&E Project Manager ” will be:

  • Plan the Mechanical, Electrical and Information Technology Scopes of work of a construction project and prepare a construction schedule in conjunction with the Project Team Members

  • Prepare / Evaluate regular, timely and accurate billings for the mechanical and electrical subcontractor  components of the project.

  • Monitor in conjunction with the Superintendent, a project’s material and labour costs for Mechanical and Electrical components and assure accurate reporting is being conducted

  • Review Mechanical and Electrical changes received from the Consultants to ensure they are complete and up to standards and review subcontractor prices on these changes

  • Provide expert advice and proactively report on delivery and performance, utilizing available tools and information while maintaining detailed, accurate and up to date records of site infrastructure, plant and equipment including product and technical information

  • Plan the Mechanical, Electrical and Information Technology components of a construction project

  • Provide Design and Constructability feedback for all Project Documentation ( from various Sources)

  • Prepare and lead project meetings, determining the status of the job in terms of scheduling , quality & costing and solve complex technical issues

  • Provide a focal point liaison for the end Client on all aspect of the  Mechanical , Electrical ,IT systems leading to Systems activation, Commissioning and operational service

  • Mentor, train and manage Mechanical, Electrical Coordinators (and related staff) on your assigned projects

  • Establish necessary policies, procedures, action plans, critical indicators, timetables and performance measures to guarantee high quality services and timely deliverables to the client

  • Manage the overall Building Systems commissioning programs including coordination, startup, testing, verification and owner training

Is this the right role for you?

  • Experienced in the management of the projects from start to finish, including; scope development, specification development, tender management, managing contractor installation, quality review and project close out

  • You have eight to ten years of Mechanical and Electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience

  • You have a full understanding and proven experience with maintenance and life-cycle budgeting and are technically competent in understanding statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation

  • Experienced in managing various projects and tasks

  • Experienced manager with proven skills in construction

  • You have a valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle

  • High degree of leadership skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision
