In this role, you will provide engineering support for the LP business unit both in Canada and the U.S., while working alongside technical experts. You will apply technical knowledge and experience to develop effective solutions for our partners with a focus on safe, reliable operation of Enbridge assets.

What You Will Do:
Collaborate with our internal partners and facilitate discussions surrounding technical issues (e.g., Regions, Projects, Asset Management, Procurement).
Perform technical studies and analysis for day-to-day and systemic issues.
Learn from technical experts within the Mechanical Engineering team through failure analyses, incident investigations, and initiatives linked to the team’s strategic priorities.
Support the Projects business unit by participating in technical design reviews, engaging with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with Enbridge specifications and standards and regulatory requirements.
Support content ownership of Enbridge specifications and standards, with a continual focus on identifying competitive solutions and opportunities for innovative technologies.
Who You Are:
Completion of an Engineering Degree from an accredited University, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
Currently registered as an Engineer-In-Training with APEGA or eligible to register within one year of hire.
2-4 years of experience in engineering roles related to pipeline facilities, in the field or in a related area, ideally in mechanical engineering roles.
Familiar with government regulatory and industry codes regarding pipeline facilities in Canada and the U.S.
Effective interpersonal skills, which include both verbal and written communication.
Self-motivated, learning and growth mindset, and proven track record to take the lead in identifying innovative solutions.
Working Conditions:
Office based role.
Limited (10-15%) of travel to other Enbridge office and field locations. Ability to travel and work on projects throughout Canada and United States. Valid passport is required.
A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.
