The Metro Sales Manager oversees new vehicle sales, shipments, customer satisfaction, and profitability targets, managing dealer relationships and enhancing performance through strategic initiatives.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Metro Sales Manager will be based out of Edmonton, reporting to the Western Business Center Sales Operations Manager.
The Metro Sales Manager will manage all new vehicle retail sales, vehicle shipments, customer satisfaction and profitability targets for the assigned area of retail business. The successful candidate will act as the face of the company for all day-to-day management activities with the dealers within the assigned area.
Primary responsibilities of the position will include:
- Developing and implementing retail merchandising strategies with dealers within the assigned area
- Ensuring understanding and coordinating implementation of all regional and national retail programs and merchandising activities to deliver on sales targets
- Providing competitive and market intelligence with the purpose of developing industry leading retail merchandising activities and programs
- Communicating allocation requirements and performing forecasting models to ensure wholesale targets are achieved
- Monitoring dealership operations and performances to identify select dealers with areas of improvement
- Developing performance improvement plans with select dealers and monitoring progress
- Monitor and assist dealers within their respective areas towards EV Readiness
- Monitor, Coach and assist dealers within their respective areas to be best in class in Customer Experience
The salary range for this role is $98,500 - $125,000 per year.

Preferred QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Must reside within the Edmonton region with the ability to travel regularly within the assigned area
- Minimum five (5) years sales experience (preference to automotive related)
- Proven success in achieving sales targets
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong time management skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Fully Bilingual (French/English)
