Modern Workplace Enablement Specialist

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Enablement Specialist to join AIMCo's Cloud Services team. In this role, you will help employees across the organization get real, practical value from Microsoft 365. You will partner with business teams to understand how they work, recommend the right capability for the problem in front of them, build solutions that demonstrate what is possible, and deliver the training that turns a licence into productivity.
You will lead the adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Online, Power Platform and the Microsoft 365 environment. You will run the sessions, build the demos, record the walkthroughs and write the guidance, working alongside platform administrators, security partners, talent managers, and business leaders across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary contact for business teams on modern workplace technology, building trusted relationships with leaders and their staff across the organization.
• Learn how each team works, where effort is being lost, and where Microsoft 365 capabilities can make a practical difference to their day.
• Design and deliver the enablement program, including workshops, live demonstrations, office hours, onboarding sessions and targeted training for audiences from first-time users to experienced makers.
• Build working demos, prototypes and reference solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint that show teams what good looks like.
• Create enablement resources people return to on their own, including quick-start guides, recorded walkthroughs, prompt libraries, use case catalogues and knowledge base articles.
• Advise stakeholders honestly on whether a given tool fits their problem, how to approach it, and what its realistic limits are.
• Establish and coach a champions network so that adoption support reaches further than a single person allows.
• Measure adoption using Microsoft 365 usage analytics, the Copilot adoption dashboard, Power Platform telemetry and direct feedback, and focus your effort where it demonstrably works.
• Track the Microsoft roadmap, test new capabilities yourself, and advise the organization on what to pilot, what to adopt and what to leave alone.
• Investigate issues that surface in your sessions and in the solutions you deliver, working with platform administrators and vendors where deeper diagnosis is required.
• Partner with Cloud Services administrators, Security and Talent Management so that enablement stays aligned with what the platform team is delivering.

What We Are Looking For

You are a natural teacher with genuine technical depth. You enjoy figuring out a new capability and then showing other people how to use it. You present and write well, you are credible in front of both an analyst team and an executive audience, and you are honest about where a tool helps and where it falls short. Your success is reflected in what others can confidently do on their own after learning from you.

Required Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, Organizational Development, Communications, Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years working with Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment, in a role that combined technical work with direct engagement with business users.
• Hands-on experience across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform, sufficient to build and demonstrate working solutions independently.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training, workshops, demonstrations or instructional content for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the confidence to lead a session for any audience from front-line staff to executives.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with enough platform knowledge to explain why something behaves the way it does.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running a champions network, citizen developer community or comparable adoption program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including sensitivity labels and DLP, and how they surface to end users.
• Change management training or certification.
• Microsoft certifications, held or achievable within an agreed development period, such as AB-900, AB-410, PL-400 or AB-620.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Foundry, or Claude Enterprise.

What Success Looks Like

• Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform and SharePoint usage grows in depth rather than just licence count, with adoption you can evidence.
• A self-sustaining library of demos, recordings and guidance exists, and people find their own answers in it without needing a meeting.
• Champions in each division handle the routine questions themselves, extending your reach well past your own calendar.
• Business teams build their own low-complexity solutions confidently and within guardrails, because you taught them the patterns.
• Good habits are visible in how people use the tools, because governance was part of the training rather than a separate lecture.
• Leadership has a clear read on where capability is strong, where it is thin, and what to invest in next.
