SUMMARY
The Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the analysis, research, and data management within the RBS division. The role entails assisting in the collection and interpretation of data, preparing reports, and utilizing various analytical tools to provide actionable insights to the team. The Position is based in Woodbridge, Ontario.
This is a temporary position for a period of up to 12 weeks
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Support the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for internal use.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete targeted assignments and projects.
- Help in maintaining databases and ensuring the accuracy of the data collected.
- Specific projects to be assigned include:
- Update SPR (Special Price Request) reports including 2025 rollover
- Support Finance team to ensure all 2024 SPR billings are completed
- Confirm left-over balances on 2024 SPR’s that can be cleared
- Support Sr. Accountant with various tasks
- Support Controller with branch budget preparation and other projects
- Participate in decision-making processes by providing relevant data and analysis.
- Contribute to the planning and organization of tasks to meet project deadlines.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills and experience with spreadsheets
- Experience with pricing and inventory preferred.
- Basic understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Some travel (about 5-10%) including air travel or auto travel may be required.
