Are you skilled at guiding clients through change and driving Microsoft 365 adoption? Do you help ensure project success through change strategy, communication, and user adoption?


We are looking for an Adoption and Change Management Consultant for our Calgary Branch located in Calgary to deliver consultative services directly to our clients and to build relationships with our stakeholders and project teams. You will play a key role in ensuring projects and change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage of our technical solutions focused in Microsoft 365. You will support the identification and mobilization of a change network for our clients and provide change management expertise in the areas of change strategy & planning, communications, training, and user adoption support. 

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand how a technology change will affect their end-users

  • Inform clients of the technology’s full range of features so they can make the most of its benefits

  • Collect requirements for technology adoption using methods such as one-on-one interviews or leading group workshops

  • Work alongside LVS technical teams and clients to establish a Governance Plan for implementing new technology

  • Create and execute resources like adoption support materials, end-user communications, and training tools to ensure effective change management and technology rollout

  • Monitor and analyze user adoption and usage to guarantee the secure, efficient, and consistent use of technology across the organization.

  • Maintain a comprehensive adoption and change management plan covering governance, communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and ongoing support to promote lasting adoption

  • Partner with LVS technical consultants to stay informed about client technology changes to develop robust OCM plans that address Governance, Communications, and Training

  • Draft a Communications Plan and produce messages to advance this plan

  • Use different communication channels to share messages

  • Design a role-based Training Plan considering different user roles and impact assessments

  • Develop and deliver training content tailored for a variety of users, from white-glove sessions for Executives and their assistants, to sessions for office staff and frontline workers

  • Assist with other project activities related to change and communication.

  • Participate in meetings with the internal OCM Community of Practice to further the practice area’s development

  • Lead projects as a coordinator when needed to achieve utilization targets during periods without OCM assignments

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a change management role with a focus on supporting the people side of change in technology adoption consulting

  • Experience with technical implementations and changes including SharePoint and Teams projects

  • Ability to follow established processes to deliver quality outcomes, understand hand-off, and be able to suggest and apply improvements

  • Experience eliciting requirements and creating role-based user requirements and impact assessment documentation

  • Experience creating communication plans and messages, using various communication methods and tools

  • Experience creating training plans and materials including the development of training videos, quick reference cards, Microsoft Forms Quizzes, and PowerPoint decks

What Makes You Extra Awesome:

  • Organizational Change Management certification (Prosci)

  • Certified Microsoft Service Adoption Specialist

  • Accredited Instructional Designer/Trainer

  • Technical certification in a Microsoft application or platform (M365, SharePoint, Dynamics)

  • Certification with other technology platforms or methodology such as ITIL, SAP, or Google
