As an Arbitration Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our in-house attorneys by managing arbitration cases from initiation to resolution. Your responsibilities will include preparing and filing documents, conducting thorough legal research, and handling day-to-day case management tasks efficiently and precisely.
In this role you will:

Report to Arbitration Counsel on the Escalated Recovery Team of the Accounts Servicing Department.

Work a hybrid schedule and will go into the office once a week.

Support Arbitration Counsel as needed with respect to all Arbitration matters, including document production, research, and preliminary drafting of responses to written discovery and subpoenas, as well as drafting to complaints, demands, and claims.

Oversee necessary filings to ensure that all submissions are error-free and timely.

Maintain and update Arbitration databases, including all relevant department process sheets.

Contribute to team goals, focusing on attacking defaults and driving efficiency amid dispute resolution.

Role Requirements:

Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college and/or training; Microsoft Office skills or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, write, proofread, edit, and interpret legal documents.

Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form, and ability to multitask and prioritize workload.

5+ years of relevant experience.

Notary Public or willingness to become a Notary Public.

Management Experience Preferred.
