Job Summary

As a Principal Product Manager, you’ll own a major stake in the strategy, execution, and continual improvement of our product capabilities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap, prioritize outcomes, and drive delivery in alignment with business goals and customer needs. You are responsible for translating product strategy and customer insights into actionable plans, ensuring seamless execution, and delivering high-value solutions to customers across multiple investment areas.

This remote-first role is ideal for a technically strong and experienced Product Manager who has owned and delivered programs across multiple product areas and focuses.

Job Responsibilities

You’re responsible for the entire product lifecycle from ideation to sunset for a breadth of product areas. In that, you’ll be expected to:

  • Mentorship and Leadership Team Involvement - in this role, you’ll help mentor junior product managers and have a direct role in the leadership of our Product direction and strategy
  • Problem identification - working directly with our customers and GTM teams, you’ll identify key areas of investment, building the business cases and roadmaps that deliver real value and outcomes
  • Vision and Roadmapping - build long-term directions for those investments, based on hypotheses, data, and market insights
  • Prioritization and execution - balancing multiple competing initiatives based on use needs and business outcomes, defining the work plans that optimize outcomes and working directly with the development team to deliver
  • Delivery - work across the sales, support, and marketing teams to ensure outcomes are realized through communication, education, release management, and post-release monitoring
  • Life-Cycle Management - after release, you’ll remain responsible for the overall investment and roadmap, focusing on adoption, maintenance, additional functionality requirements, and sunsetting if required.

Utilizing your customer-centric approach that focuses on problems and outcomes vs features, you’ll deliver solutions that are adopted and utilized instead of just checkmarks. You’ll own a significant part of our overall product strategy and deliver measurable outcomes against a roadmap that you define.

Qualifications

  • A background in SaaS B2B applications, owning key and significant portions of the solution and customer problem-set, with formal or informal leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to tackling challenges.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the ability to translate insights into clear product strategies.
  • Customer-centric mindset with an ability to conduct user research and usability testing.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and familiarity with backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative development.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Design.
  • A bias to action - with a demonstrable iterative approach that accelerates understanding and mitigates risk
  • A demonstrable ability to define vision, and prioritize the highest value investments saying “no” to the things that don’t align or don’t matter
