About the Role:

As the Product Marketer for Equipment Monitoring at Motive, you will own the go-to-market strategy for this product line. This role is critical in positioning Motive as the industry leader in asset tracking and telematics for commercial equipment, ensuring our solutions are effectively communicated to businesses that operate fleets and equipment owners. You will be the single-threaded Marketing leader for Equipment Monitoring and take ownership of driving achievement of pipeline and revenue goals. You will have strong attention to detail, execute efficiently, and be fluent in using data to drive decision-making. You’ll also be an excellent communicator able to build strong relationships across teams as this role requires you to work cross-functionally with product management, demand generation, communications, enablement and other teams to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth. 

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans for Equipment Monitoring products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and revenue targets. 
  • Drive product launches and feature releases, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless rollout. 
  • Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with key audiences, differentiating Motive in a competitive landscape. 
  • Build a deep understanding of industry trends, pain points, and buyer personas. 
  • Identify opportunities to sell Equipment Monitoring as part of New Logo and Expansion marketing campaigns and sales motions driving delivery of revenue goals.
  • Leverage data and customer insights to refine messaging, pricing, and product strategy.
  • Develop sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to enable the sales team to effectively position and sell Equipment Monitoring solutions. 
  • Collaborate with demand generation and content marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation. 
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that product development aligns with market needs. 
  • Work closely with Product Managers to influence roadmap decisions based on customer feedback and market insights. 
  • Collaborate with channel and partnership teams to develop co-marketing initiatives that expand Motive’s reach in the equipment monitoring space. 

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing or marketing, preferably within tech or SaaS industries.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical features into clear, compelling customer benefits. 
  • Proven track record in driving GTM strategies, messaging, and sales enablement for enterprise or mid-market products. 
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a strategic perspective. 
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly to shifting market dynamics and organizational priorities.


Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:

$134,000$205,000 USD
