The Promotional Marketing Planner supports the end-to-end execution of approved promotional events across print, digital, and in-store channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery.
This role partners closely with marketing, creative, eCommerce/digital, legal/compliance, translation/localization, store operations, loyalty, media partners, and external vendors. Accountability is focused on channel execution planning, asset coordination, proofing, and governance once promotional direction is confirmed.
What you'll do:Channel Execution & Coordination- Summarize channel execution plans based on finalized offers.
- Deliver execution-ready asset packages to channel owners (copy, disclaimers, key details).
- Create workback schedules to meet key promotional deadlines.
- Build print pagination layouts using approved insights and data.
- Provide pagination files, copy, images, templates, and data sheets to production on deadline.
- Manage print production with vendors through all proofing stages.
- Share final flyer and postcard creative with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate digital flyer set-up and link/URL population.
- Review and return digital flyer files for launch.
- Coordinate pre-promote assets for major flyer events.
- Submit creative briefs and coordinate inputs (offers, messaging, requirements, timelines).
- Coordinate photography needs for print and supporting assets.
- Support development of creative assets for category and program promotions.
- Proof channel assets (email, web, digital flyer, in-store) against approved briefs.
- Validate dates, offers, disclaimers, and messaging consistency.
- Submit loyalty/partner briefs and review partner creative and landing pages (incl. legal as needed).
- Coordinate partner proofing cycles and final approvals.
- Coordinate execution for co-marketing and partner-funded promotions.
- Maintain annual workback with Store Operations to align asset delivery to in-store timelines.
What you'll bring:
- 3–5 years of experience in promotional, retail, or integrated marketing execution
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills (able to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders)
- Experience with Airtable is considered an asset.
- Experience with print and digital production workflows (briefing, proofing, version control, approvals)
- High attention to detail in deadline-driven environments, with strong quality control and proofing skills
- Ability to translate business priorities into execution-ready plans, assets, and timelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000.00 and $88,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $65,000.00 and $75,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
