Reporting to the Senior Talent Advisor of the Executive Talent Management team who manages Senior Leader Talent Deployment, this individual contributes as a key member of our team to ensure the end-to-end hiring process runs smoothly and provides a high touch experience for all senior leader hires. This person will be an integral partner in supporting the offer letter creation and workflow for all of our senior leadership hiring, collaborating closely with our HR business partners, compensation and legal teams as well as Hiring Leaders.

In this role, you will support the activities across the Executive Talent Management Team such as, recruitment support, offer approval governance, offer letter management, candidate onboarding and being a champion of the BMO brand, which is tied to our Purpose and Winning Culture, to our candidates and stakeholders alike.

Recruitment Administration & Support

  • Coordinate interviews and provide referral support 

  • Advise on questions candidates may have regarding their application or process

  • Support Management with administration:

    • examples of day-to-day operational processes

    • program management activities

    • offer approval governance

Candidate Care & Relationship Management

  • Manage communications with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate/hiring manager experience. 

  • Work with internal and external partners to support the execution of program deliverables (e.g. offer approval process, offer letter creation, interview scheduling etc.)

  • Deliver strong presence and role model BMO Purpose / Winning Culture in all client interactions. 

Requisition & Recruitment Management Process

  • Manage the candidate and hiring manager experience (in Workday) throughout the requisition stages

  • Ensure all Senior Leadership hiring meets all compliance standards to mitigate BMO’s risk, which includes all roles posted include the appropriate taglines and correct approvals. This also includes compliance of the Candidate Relationship Management System (CRM) and all trackers

  • Ensure all systems are up to date through the hiring workflow

  • Execute on the end-to-end process of the offer letter and ensure correct reviews and information is captured

  • Investigate, resolves and follows-up regarding any Workday issues or errors

  • Support the team with special projects & process recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Typically, 3 - 5 years of relevant administrative, customer service, HR experience in a fast paced, large, complex organization

  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience aligned to Human Resources and Talent Management

  • Strong calendar management capabilities and depth of experience in using of MS Office Suite

  • Proficency with excel

  • Experience working with Workday and some experience working with SharePoint would be ideal

  • Ability to manage high volume, high risk, high impact, often confidential, transactions and able to shift priorities and prioritize responsibilities and stakeholders at pace

  • Comfort with senior leader interactions

  • Ability to execute with quality results (detail orientated)

  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills

  • Collaboration & team skills, proactive and able to reach out to networks across the organization to help facilitate transactions

  • Proactive & responsive

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills

Salary:

$44,500.00 - $82,500.00

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
