Wilson
Recruitment Consultant; Talent Intelligence (Regulatory Affairs & QA/QC) - US, Canada (Remote)
Wilson is seeking a motivated, consultative and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our collaborative, dynamic and talented team. This role will play an integral part in serving as a trusted talent advisor to our client and a knowledgeable advocate for prospective candidates. With a focus on Regulatory Affairs and Quality talent within the biopharmaceutical industry, you will combine proactive sourcing, talent intelligence, market research and recruitment strategy to address critical talent needs across the US and Canada.
Rather than managing the full recruitment lifecycle, you will focus on the front end of the talent acquisition process. As a client facing resource, you will identify and engage specialized talent, develop and maintain strategic pipelines, report on market conditions and translate talent data into actionable recruitment recommendations. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a strong, independent work ethic, advanced sourcing capability, intellectual curiosity, the ability to develop and nurture strong client and candidate relationships and a passion for using market evidence to improve recruitment outcomes.
YOU WILL:
- Develop and execute creative, proactive sourcing strategies for specialized Regulatory Affairs and Quality talent within the biopharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
- Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify relevant talent pools, target organizations, geographic concentrations, adjacent skill sets and sources of specialized expertise.
- Identify, engage and qualify passive and active prospects through advanced internet searches, professional networks, referrals, social media and other direct sourcing methods.
- Build and maintain robust pipelines and long-term talent communities that support current and anticipated client needs.
- Produce clear talent intelligence and market reporting on talent availability, competitor activity, geographic considerations, candidate expectations, compensation insights and potential barriers to hiring.
- Translate sourcing activity and market data into actionable recommendations, including adjustments to target profiles, search parameters, locations, outreach approaches and recruitment strategies.
- Consult with client stakeholders and recruiting partners to formulate, refine and adapt recruitment strategies based on market conditions, pipeline performance and candidate feedback.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline health, market response, sourcing progress and emerging trends, and escalate challenges with recommended solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong candidate relationships, clearly communicate opportunities and client value propositions and support an exceptional candidate experience through the sourcing and qualification stages.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in talent sourcing, talent intelligence, recruitment research or strategic recruiting within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences or another highly specialized talent market.
- Demonstrated ability to research and source difficult-to-find talent using advanced Boolean and internet search techniques, professional networking platforms, competitor research and direct outreach.
- Ability to analyze market and pipeline data, identify meaningful trends and translate findings into clear, actionable recruitment strategies and recommendations.
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to advise recruiters, hiring managers and client stakeholders and influence decisions through credible market evidence.
- Experience developing talent maps, market intelligence reports, pipeline reporting or related talent insights for business and recruitment stakeholders.
- Strong candidate engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to create interest among passive prospects and maintain longer-term talent communities.
