Reliability Supervisor

Where will you work: Onsite – Esterhazy K3, Saskatchewan

HOURS/SCHEDULE  5/5/4

Reporting to the Reliability Lead, the Reliability Supervisor plans, coordinates, and supervises the safe execution of condition-based monitoring activities in the K3 mine and surface operations. The role requires the management of labor and material resources to identify and prevent equipment defects through application of condition-based monitoring tasks. The use of root cause failure analysis and other reliability engineering processes will be required as necessary.

What you’ll do?

  • Direct and manage daily and long-term workforce planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance work. 

  • Ensure assigned crew meets all applicable standards and requirements in terms of safety, quality, timeliness, and cost.

  • Ensure regulatory, corporate and site safety and environmental standards are followed by conducting safety audits, risk assessments and housekeeping tours. 

  • Ensure all maintenance programs meet Mosaic and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and manage the implementation and continuous improvement of the condition-monitoring and lubrication program.

  • Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards.

  • Manage performance issues when necessary.

  • Develop and coach employees to retain and grow organizational talent. 

  • Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.

  • Support defect elimination program through RCA and other reliability engineering practices.

What you’ll need:

  • High School/GED required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technologist Diploma preferred, major in mechanical or electrical.

  • 5+ years of related underground experience

  • Strong working knowledge of condition monitoring technologies (vibration, IR, UE, MCA, oil analysis)

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS, data management)

  • Knowledge and understanding of networks, servers, and databases.

  • Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, and drug and alcohol testing.

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
