THE POSITION
The Sr. Advisor – Strategic Workforce Planning & Analytics provides strategic insight and workforce intelligence to enable the organization to make informed decisions about its people, capabilities, and future workforce needs.  The role combines strategic workforce planning, workforce analytics, data-driven insights, and strategic advisory to help leaders understand workforce opportunities and risks and translate insights into actional talent strategies. This role will also play a key part in evolving the organization’s workforce planning and HR Analytics capabilities, including leveraging technology and AI to improve workforce insights and decision-making.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Lead the development of Keyera’s Strategic Workforce Planning roadmap, further embedding strategic workplace planning through the enterprise
  • Connect enterprise workforce themes to key talent programs including, engagement, succession, learning and leadership
  • Lead and facilitate strategic workforce planning activities across the organization, connecting business strategy, workforce requirements, talent, skills and organizational capabilities
  • Partner with the business and HR Leaders to understand the current workforce challenges and anticipate future workforce needs
  • Develop multi-year workforce plans, roadmaps and scenarios aligned to business strategy and strategic priorities
  • Identify workforce risks, opportunities, critical roles, emerging capabilities, and future skills required
  • Assess implications of business growth, transformation, technology and AI on workforce requirements
  • Translate workforce planning insights into actionable talent strategies, including build, buy, borrow, automate, redeploy opportunities
  • Establish and continuously evolve workforce planning methodologies, tools, frameworks, and processes.

HR Analytics

  • Develop and deliver workforce analytics and insights that support strategic business and people decisions
  • Lead the development of the quarterly Organizational Health Scorecard and present key findings (insights) to teams, leaders and executives
  • Translates workforce and talent data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations that support decision making
  • Develop dashboards, reporting and executive-level workforce insights that clearly communicate key trends, opportunities and risks

Future of Work, Skills & AI

  • Assess the impact of AI, automation, digital transformation, and changing work models on workforce requirements
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Leaders to identify emerging skills and capabilities required for the future
  • Support strategies to upskill and reskill employees and enable movement of talent into future capability areas
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and technology to improve workforce productivity, capacity, and talent decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Organizational Development or a related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in HR, workforce planning, HR Analytics, strategy, consulting, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience translating business strategy into workforce and talent implications
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful insights
  • Experience developing workforce plans, scenarios, analytics, dashboards, and executive presentations
  • Consulting and facilitation skills with experience working with senior leaders and influencing strategic decisions
  • Experience with HR data, reporting platforms, workforce analytics tools, and HR Technology
  • Demonstrated interest and understanding of AI, automation, emerging skills and the future of work
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with cross function stakeholders
