The Sr. Advisor – Talent Management is a strategic advisor responsible for the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise talent management programs and initiatives. This role partners closely with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and people leaders to develop talent strategies and programs that strengthen organizational capability, support employee growth, and build a strong pipeline of future talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Program Design

• Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of talent management programs, frameworks, and processes aligned with business and people strategies.
• Develop and enhance interconnected programs related to talent reviews, succession planning, career development, high-potential talent, leadership development, and performance/talent processes
• Conduct research and benchmarking to identify emerging talent management practices and recommend innovative solutions.
• Establish program objectives, success measures, governance, and implementation plans.
• Ensure talent programs are consistent, equitable, scalable, and aligned with organizational values and culture.

Program Implementation

• Lead the implementation and ongoing administration of talent management programs across the organization.
• Develop program materials, tools, resources, communications, and leader enablement strategies.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure effective adoption and integration of talent programs.
• Facilitate talent discussions, workshops, calibration sessions, and other talent-related activities as required.
• Monitor program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Talent Strategy & Advisory

• Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leaders and business stakeholders on talent management priorities
• Stay current on external talent trends, emerging practices and innovative approaches to talent management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in HR in a complex multi-level organization
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise talent management programs
• Previous HR Business Partnering experience would be considered an asset
• Project/Program Management experience with the ability to manage multiple enterprise programs
• Interpersonal skills with strong stakeholder management skills and influencing experience
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively to a cross function stakeholders
• Exceptional collaboration skills – ability to partner across HR and the broader organization  
• Comprehensive understanding of talent management practices
