Pragmatike is recruiting for an innovative technology company seeking a Senior Android Developer to help build and scale a high-impact mobile product used by customers worldwide.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating polished user experiences, writing high-quality code, and collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams in a fast-moving environment.
You'll play a key role in shaping the architecture, performance, and future direction of the Android platform.
What You'll DoDevelop and maintain native Android applications using modern development practices.
Design and implement scalable, maintainable mobile architectures.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Help define technical direction and improve development processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and maintainability.
5+ years of professional Android development experience.
Strong expertise in Kotlin.
Experience building and shipping Android applications at scale.
Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android architecture patterns.
Experience with REST APIs and mobile networking.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean architecture.
Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD workflows.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team.
Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Experience building consumer-facing mobile products.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Exposure to mobile security best practices.
Startup or high-growth company experience.
Experience mentoring other engineers.
