Job Description:

Department Overview 
The Business Intelligence COE within TD Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence (AI2) is the enterprise go-to destination for high-quality self-serve Business Intelligence solutions including but not limited to tools, reports, Power BI dashboards, cubes and scorecards. The COE's mission is to develop best-in-class business Intelligence solution built on golden source of truth with integrated standard to drive value for our colleagues and customers 
 
Job Description: 
Lead Enterprise BI initiatives ranging from Standards creation and enforcement, scale and drive adoptions of new capabilities, best practices sharing, community engagement etc. Use your expertise to create metrics, reports, and prototypes, and drive best-in-class business intelligence capabilities. 

 

As a natural leader, you will guide continuous improvement in reporting, collaborate with analytics partners to define critical metrics, and recommend solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Your talent for data visualization and analytics will help set reporting standards and best practices.

Job Responsibilities: 
 

Customer: 

  • Deliver a variety of BI reporting packages (dashboards, scorecards, monthly results).  

  • Transform raw data into actionable insights using advanced techniques.  

  • Analyze existing solutions to enhance business intelligence for leadership.  

  • Manage periodic reporting to support business decisions and identify new data presentation opportunities.  

  • Collaborate to develop and implement new procedures, layouts, or templates for data consumption.  

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure integrated customer support. 
     

Shareholder: 

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all relevant practices, procedures, and emerging trends within your domain.  

  • Proactively identify, assess, and escalate risks—including non-standard and high-risk activities—to safeguard organizational interests.  

  • Deliver high-impact reporting and analysis at both functional and enterprise levels; use insights to drive actionable recommendations and evaluate program effectiveness.  

  • Rigorously monitor service and productivity, implementing continuous process and performance improvements to maximize efficiency.  

  • Champion a culture of risk management and governance controls, ensuring all processes align with the organization’s risk appetite and compliance standards

Breadth & Depth:  

  • Provide specialized analysis, reporting, and operational support.  

  • Guide and assist team members and internal partners across a broad range of processes.  

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of reporting and business intelligence tools, platforms, and techniques.  

  • Possess strong knowledge of various data sources and the ability to connect to multiple systems relevant to the business unit.  

  • Connect to, query, and obtain data, then prepare summaries and reports.  

  • Handle work with some complexity, typically requiring a short to medium-term focus (weekly to monthly).  

  • Independently deliver assigned initiatives with direction from management.  
     

 

Must Have Requirements for this Role: 

 

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in business intelligence. 

  • Product experience in business intelligence solutions.  

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (Premium), including end-to-end report/dashboard development 

  • Experience of agile delivery methodologies  

  • Strong ETL skills using cloud technologies (Databricks, Azure, Python, SQL).  

  • Robust documentation skills (Confluence, Jira).  

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills including time estimation/prioritization 

  • Knowledge of structured data intelligence and analytics best practices. 
     

Nice To Have Requirements 

  • Experience delivering wireframes and prototypes (Adobe XD, Figma). 

  • Experience with Power Apps for automation. 

  • Knowledge and experience with AI tooling in BI delivery
