About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Labelbox, you will not only play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our DevOps strategies but also in driving our company's growth. Your innovative solutions and scalable designs will be key in meeting our evolving needs. You will lead the efforts in ensuring our systems are resilient, secure, and efficient, and your expertise will guide critical decisions around our infrastructure architecture.
Your Day to Day
- Collaborate with teams to integrate and deploy new features and services
- Continuously optimize our CI/CD pipelines to improve speed, reliability, and maintainability
- Conduct code reviews for pull requests, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation, providing timely and effective support
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring system stability
- Lead efforts in monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring security and compliance
About You
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field, with a proven track record of managing and scaling cloud-based infrastructure
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, Helm, and Terraform
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc), with experience in optimizing and maintaining pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure), including best practices for security, networking, and cost management
- Enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and tracing problems through applications and networks
- Programming/scripting languages like Bash, Python, JavaScript, etc.
Nice to Have
- Experience with maintaining Postgres, MySQL, and Redis
- Experience with Datadog
- Experience with application and infrastructure security practices
- Experience using APM metrics to resolve application performance issues

Labelbox strives to ensure pay parity across the organization and discuss compensation transparently. The expected annual base salary range for United States-based candidates is below. This range is not inclusive of any potential equity packages or additional benefits. Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location.

$190,000—$225,000 USD
