In this role, you will sponsor complex integrity initiatives from concept to completion, working across the business to drive project development, funding, and execution. You will also help shape long-term integrity strategies, optimize investment portfolios, and ensure integrity priorities are reflected in key operational and business decisions.

This is a high-impact position where your technical expertise and business judgement will directly support the safety, reliability, and long-term integrity of Enbridge’s assets. What You Will Do:

  • Sponsor integrity-driven projects and programs from development and funding through execution and close-out. The projects or programs are typically considered non-routine and may include: pipeline replacements, hydrotests, geohazard remediation, pipeline modifications, and other complex integrity mitigation initiatives.

  • Develop integrity strategies, prioritize risk mitigation investments, and support capital planning and portfolio optimization.

  • Apply risk-based decision-making to evaluate opportunities and recommend mitigation solutions.

  • Represent Integrity & Risk Management on complex projects and cross-functional initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor.

  • Provide technical leadership, integrity assurance, and engineering mentorship to support compliance and asset stewardship.

  • Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement of integrity processes, tools, and best practices.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.

  • 6 or more years of directly relevant experience in engineering, project management, integrity management, pipeline operations, or related technical disciplines.

  • Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta. If in the U.S., PE is preferred.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities and deliver results.

  • Proven ability to tackle complex technical and business challenges using sound judgement and risk-based decision-making.

  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills, including presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in integrity management, pipeline operations, risk assessment, data analysis, or capital project development, with a commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Moderate travel (~20%) is required. Ability to travel throughout Canada and United States to other offices and/or site locations. Valid passport is required.

  • A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $100,000 – $140,000 USD for U.S. locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
