Summary:What your team does:

The Marketing Analytics and Insights team is responsible for marketing attribution and performance measurement. This team leads marketing efficiency analysis that enables channel and budget optimization. The Marketing organization relies on this team for insights on the full marketing funnel. 

As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst you’ll own complex, high-impact analytics projects end-to-end, guide how we define and measure success, and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. You’ll also mentor junior analysts and help establish best practices for analytics across the marketing org.
 

What you'll work on:

Website & Funnel Analytics

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced event-tracking strategies across digital properties.

  • Define methodologies for conversion funnel measurement, A/B test evaluation, and customer journey analysis.

  • Ensure our website analytics framework is accurate, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Attribution & Marketing Performance

  • Develop and refine multi-touch attribution models to evaluate channel and campaign ROI.

  • Influence budget allocation by presenting data-driven recommendations to senior marketing leaders.

  • Drive innovation in marketing measurement approaches and ensure consistent adoption across teams.

Dashboards & Reporting

  • Architect scalable reporting frameworks and automated dashboards that provide real-time insights to leadership.

  • Standardize KPI definitions and reporting structures across Marketing, Sales, and RevOps.

  • Proactively identify reporting gaps and lead initiatives to close them.

Systems & Data Architecture

  • Partner with Marketing Ops, RevOps, and Data Engineering to optimize data flows across CRM, MAP, and analytics platforms.

  • Lead initiatives to improve data governance, validation processes, and system integrations.

  • Translate business needs into clear data requirements and ensure solutions are implemented effectively.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping marketing strategy with insights.

  • Mentor IC1 and IC2 analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing.

  • Drive alignment across functions by leading workshops, standardizing processes, and influencing adoption of measurement best practices.

What you bring:
  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing analytics, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments.

  • Deep expertise in website analytics (GA4, GTM, Segment, Amplitude, or similar).

  • Proven success with multi-touch attribution models that influenced marketing investment decisions.

  • Strong proficiency with SQL and at least one BI/visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).

  • Experience working with marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence leaders and navigate competing priorities.

  • Track record of leading complex projects independently, from scoping to delivery, with measurable impact.

  • Experience with experimentation frameworks, predictive analytics, or advanced statistical modeling.

The full salary range* for this role is $97,800 to $115,000 to $132,200 CAD.Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
