Reports to: Head of Talent Acquisition
Location: Toronto (Hybrid); Salt Lake City (Hybrid - 3x/week in-office); Austin (Hybrid); All other Canada & US (Remote)
About the Role
CSC Generation's centralized recruiting team supports hiring across a portfolio of 13 brands. As Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruitment for engineering, marketing, finance, and other professional roles—with a particular focus on building our talent presence in Canada.
Within your first six months, you will have established sourcing pipelines across North America, built trusted advisory relationships with hiring managers, and delivered measurable improvements in recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and pipeline conversion rates.
This is a lean team. You will own a lot, move fast, and make decisions with full end-to-end responsibility.
What You'll Do
- Partner with hiring managers across portfolio brands to understand role requirements, advise on best practices, and define recruitment strategies for each open position
- Own full-cycle recruiting: source, review, screen, and evaluate qualified applicants for engineering, finance, creative, and other professional roles
- Conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and candidate assessments to evaluate technical ability, culture alignment, and long-term fit
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for future hiring needs, converting prospects into active candidates and eventual hires
- Use data-driven approaches to recruiting—track and report on key metrics throughout the recruitment lifecycle and translate insights into process improvements
- Lead efforts to establish and grow CSC Generation's recruiting presence in Canada, identifying top talent markets and sourcing channels
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and keeping all stakeholders informed on progress
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within e-commerce, fintech, or technology companies
- Demonstrated ability to source and evaluate engineering, finance, and creative talent across North America
- Strong understanding of the candidate marketplace in both the US and Canada
- Experience using data and reporting to drive recruiting decisions and improve outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities without dropping quality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable advising hiring managers on process and strategy
- High ownership mentality with a track record of delivering results with minimal oversight
Why Join
- Cross-Functional Impact: Your recruiting efforts touch every department and brand in the portfolio—engineering, marketing, finance, and beyond. The teams you build directly shape how the company grows.
- Skill Building & Career Acceleration: Work across 13 brands and dozens of hiring managers, sharpening your ability to recruit for diverse functions and seniority levels at a pace most single-brand companies cannot offer.
- End-to-End Ownership: You own your requisitions from intake to offer. You will shape recruiting strategy for an entire market (Canada) and have the autonomy to execute on it.
- Competitive Benefits (US): Paid time off policies, 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision and a variety of supplemental policies, and employee discounts across our portfolio of brands.
- Competitive Benefits (Canada): Paid time off policies, RRSP match, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a variety of supplemental benefit options, and employee discounts across our portfolio of brands.
The people who do best here are builders. They take ownership, move fast, and want to see the direct impact of their work.
