As a Sr. Sales Compensation Consultant, you will provide analysis, consultation, and recommendations to support Corporate Sales compensation programs and initiatives. You will design, evaluate, and implement strategic sales compensation plans that align with our pay-for-performance philosophy and business objectives. You will also lead the research, development, and continuous improvement of sales compensation policies, programs, processes, and tools that support our compensation strategy and drive business performance.

How you will create impact: 
  • Leading the design, evaluation, and enhancement of sales compensation plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and a pay-for-performance philosophy.
  • Conducting comprehensive reviews and analyses of sales compensation programs, pay mixes, incentive measures, and payout schedules to ensure effectiveness, competitiveness, and equity.
  • Analyzing compensation, market, and business data to develop recommendations that support sales compensation programs, strategic initiatives, and organizational priorities.
  • Presenting insights, cost analyses, and recommendations to senior leaders to support informed decision-making regarding sales compensation programs.
  • Collaborating with business partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative sales compensation solutions.
  • Providing subject matter expertise and consultation on sales compensation matters, organizational changes, and complex compensation issues.
  • Supporting job evaluation and organizational design activities through compensation expertise, role levelling, and standardization practices.
To join our team:  
  • You have five to seven years of experience in Human Resources, including direct experience in compensation programs and practices.
  • You have experience analyzing compensation programs, incentive plans, or complex workforce and financial data.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline.
  • You hold, or are working towards, a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
  • You have working knowledge of sales compensation plan design, sales incentive plan design, and compensation principles.
  • You have working knowledge of applicable compensation legislation, including pay equity and employment standards requirements.
  • Having knowledge of the insurance industry, key business drivers, and performance metrics is an asset.
  • Having proficiency in both English and French is an asset.

Expected salary range $91,058.00 to $141,058+​

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.​​

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
