What You'll Do  

Reporting to the IT Manager, the SharePoint Developer is responsible for leading the migration of data and processes to SharePoint and optimizing the use of Microsoft tools within the organization. This role will also provide expert-level support in building Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, ensuring seamless integration across Microsoft 365 tools. This role requires in-depth knowledge of SharePoint administration and project management skills to ensure successful transitions and effective utilization of Microsoft applications.

Responsibilties

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows.
  • Lead and manage SharePoint migration projects from planning through execution and post-migration support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope for SharePoint and Microsoft application implementations.
  • Develop migration strategies and methodologies, including data mapping and clean-up processes.
  • Configure and customize SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists according to organizational needs.
  • Facilitate training sessions and create documentation to guide users on best practices for SharePoint and Microsoft tools.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, storage, and access permissions across Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint environments.
  • Research and implement Microsoft updates and features to enhance usage and productivity.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for SharePoint-related issues.
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of SharePoint with other organizational systems.

Additional Information    

This position is for a temporary 6-month term to begin.

As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening including professional reference checks and a criminal record check.


Requirements

What We're Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in SharePoint administration and migration projects.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint Online, and related technologies.
  • Proven experience in building SharePoint methodology from the ground up and developing an in-house tool that supports all departments and disciplines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Effective written and oral communication abilities with a strong user support focus.
  • Experience with data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an asset.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications related to Microsoft 365 or SharePoint are preferred.
