The Team

Reporting directly to our department head, this role sits within our growing UX team, a subset of our larger R&D organization. Our UX team is dual purpose, overseeing all design aspects of our applications, as well as our ad formats. In order to deliver world-class experiences to publishers, advertisers and consumers alike, our UX team works cross-functionally to provide information architecture, interaction design, visual design, content design and user research expertise.


The Role

We are looking for an experienced designer, capable of working across the entire product development lifecycle to bring innovative applications and features to market. Using agile methodologies, you will be assigned to a focus area, partnering with product managers and engineers to plan and execute a quarterly roadmap. Key to success is knowing how to self-manage and navigate ambiguity. Moreover, you will be responsible for championing our users and negotiating scope, to deliver the best experience possible.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with product management and engineering to bring industry-leading features and applications to market
  • Work cross-functionally to develop, estimate and execute our product roadmap
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to validate the problem statement
  • Rapidly generate solutions that address our business and user goals, through a wide range of UX deliverables
  • Leverage our design system to generate high-fidelity prototypes
  • Validate your design decisions through internal and external user testing
  • Provide stakeholder management and reconcile conflicting feedback
  • Prepare your designs to ensure engineering is prepared for implementation
  • Conduct functional and visual QA
  • Monitor the success of your designs and proactively offer ways to optimize


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in UX design
  • Robust UX toolbox that you can apply situationally
  • Instinctively know what fidelity to work at when
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems
  • Can effectively future-proof designs and iteratively bring features to maturity
  • Comfortable executing primary research
  • Comfortable using product analytics and other data tools
  • Comfortable using Figma and other design tools
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and processes
  • Understanding of React and other front-end technologies
  • Proactive and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your problem solving skills and UI execution
